Good Morning, This morning the phone has been quite busy with potential customers calling for quotes the first of which was for the quotation of a shipping of a vehicle to South Africa, they would like it to go via RoRo and would like it to be shipped via sea freight the car is a 4 x 4 land rover and they would also like it to be collected and took to port by ourselves I am in the process of finding out a quote and will call the gentleman as soon as I know the price.

A lady has called and would like a quote on a 20ft and 40ft container this is so she can ship out a vehicle to her Husband who works in Dubai and would like it to be shipped in a container the vehicle is a BMW.

A past customer has called this morning and in the past they have shipped several cars with us, he has called and would like a quote for the shipping of 2 cars a Renault Megane and a Hyundai Santa Fe, the gentleman requires a quote for them to be shipped via RoRo on the next Vessel in which is going to Cyprus iam awaiting the quote and as soon as I know I will contact the customer and let him know.

I have also received a call from a customer in which we shipped a classic motorcycle for him back in December we crated the motorcycle for him so it was secure and safe and we shipped via sea freight for him to Australia, I have spoken to him this morning and he called to thank us for the service in which we provided, he received the motorcycle this week and is very happy.

Iam awaiting also for the delivery of a package from a lady in which would like to use our Gs = Global saver service in which she would like to send a package to her family in Finland, when she brings the package down I will find the dimensions and the weight and will also tape it up and get ready for it to be sent, she has said its only small and light weight so it should be fine on our GS=Global Saver service, This will be sent via air freight.

I do alot of GS global savers for customers in which as long as they are under a certain size and weight can be flown using this service, alot of our commercial customers use this method when they need to send out urgent documents.

I have been very busy this morning I have been inputting data onto our freight data system and also doing some quotes, yesterday we have a delivery of a few holdalls and a box in which the customer would like them to be shipped via air freight to papua New Guinea later on today myself and another lady who works her is going to weigh it and sort out it being sent.

i have also had a telephone call from a lovely gentleman who would like a quote for the shipping of a classic motorcycle from here in the UK to be shipped via sea freight to Italy, I have given him the option if he would like to ship the motorcycle in one of our custom built crates for security of the motorcycle and safety and for peace of mind for him and he would like that too, the motorcycle will be delivered to ourselves and then we will measure and have the crate delivered then we build the crate around the motorcycle so it is inside, I need to find out the sailing dates for the next month to Italy as he would like the motorcycle to be shipped as soon as possible, I have not given him a full quote yet but have been able to give him a rough estimate and he stills wants to go ahead with it no matter the price I will get the best price I can for him.


I have alot of paperwork to do this afternoon for various jobs in which have been shipped in the past, yesterday when I was filing away i saw a past job it was for the shipping of 3 speed boats in which were being shipped to Australia via sea freight.

I have also has a telephone call from a gentleman who had been onto our website Eliteshipping.co.uk and read about the project cargo in which we ship, he would like to find out more about this service as he needs to ship 2 cranes to Cyprus for as soon as possible he is calling back later on today with the information for us to be able to get him a quote and hopefully get these cranes shipped for him as soon as possible.

While doing my blog this afternoon I have received a call from a elderly lady in which she has 2 small boxes in which she would like to try and get them sent to her sister in New Zealand, I have asked her if she would like for us to come and collect them for her as she does not drive and its quite far for her to travel. We are collecting the boxes for her tomorrow and I will fill in the appropriate paper work for her and get them sent on their way, I will measure and weigh the boxes when they come in and input information onto the computer and get it booked they are to be shipped via air freight.

I have been extremely busy, Firstly I have invoicing again to some of our customers and I have also been finding out some shipping dates for one of our commercial customers. I have been been putting information onto our freight data system and also been booking in a few shipments too.

good morning this morning in the office I have started my day filing away recent jobs and putting them into the appropriate files, I have also been invoicing customers and sorting out paperwork in which needs to be sent to some of our customers.

I have also done a couple of quotes this morning one of which was for the shipping of two cars in which the gentleman would like them on RoRo being sea freighted to South Africa, he would like these to be collected from nottingham and he would like for us to take them to port, we can do this by getting a tranporter out to the address and collecting the vehicles and taking them to port ready to be shipped, when you ship anything you need to always check the closing off date in which you are able to take the vehicles down for the shipping as it closes near to the time of the shipping.

We have an on goin g job for a gentlman whom lives in china and we have shipped many times for him and a few of his collegues, to keep you up dated it was a Ferraie its gone in one of our secure containers as its an expensive vehicle and we have shipped it via air freight, the vehicle arrived with the gentleman today and he is again very happy with the service in which he has received and iam sure we will again be shipping for him in the near future.

And finally this morning I have a lady in which called from the chesterfield Are and has asked for a quote on a container in which she can put her household possessions in she is moving to Spain the middle of the year and would like a price not only the container being dropped and her loading it herself but also if we pack the items for her too so iam awaiting the quote back for that and I will let her know in due course.

AFTERNOON !!

I have been taking phone calls and inputting data onto our freight data system,

I have been busy doing some shipping notes and getting them emailed to one of our customers ready for them to be able to deliver there cars into port in which they will be doing the beginning of next week the cars are being shipped via RoRo and they are going to Mombasa.

I have also done a Global Saver earlier today for one of our commercial customers they have some urgent documents in which need to be sent to France as soon as possible they had dropped them off to me at our eliteshipping.co.uk office and I have labelled them and booked them in and they are being collected for air freight later on today.

I have also had another commercial customer on the telephone in which one of the ladies in the office deal with as she was already on the telephone I took the details down and passed them onto her they wanted a quote for shipping 5 x pallets to Germany she is in the process of getting these and will be calling them back soon with the quote.

I have passed on another quote in which its a gentleman who has shipped with us several times and he would like the price of a 20ft and 40ft container for him to ship a vehicle to either Namibia or Zimbabwe he would like the quote for as soon as possible as he would like to ship in the next few weeks I have also passed this on to the lady who has dealt with him in the past.

I am also in the process of getting a quote for a gentleman in which has called and would like a price on the shipping of a classic motorcycle to Melbourne in Australia, after speaking with him he would like the Motorcycle to be delivered to us at eliteshipping.co.uk into our warehouse and for us to then crate it these crates are custom built around the motorcycle and abide by customs and regulations all over the world this then gives the customer peace of mind and knows the motorcycle is safe in the crate.

I have been busy this morning taking quite a few phone calls for people who would like a quote on shipping various items like cars, motorcycles, household items, people wanting containers etc,

I have had a call from a gentleman who received a quote from ourselves back in November 2009 the item is a vintage motorcycle and he would like it shipped from here in the UK to Germany on the next availible shipping, as he has already had a quote it was pretty straight forward I just need to check as it is the start of a new year the rates may have changed slightly, the gentleman would also like the motorcycle to be brought to our warehouse and measured up for a custom built crate added security for the motorcycle and peace of mind for the customer. I am just waiting on the re newed quote to come in and then I will call the gentleman back.

I am also in the process of doing a quote for a lady who would like a 20ft container to load her household belongings she would like the container to be delivered to her address so she can load the items herself, the container when loaded is to be shipped to Austria where she is from and is now wanting to move back there.

I have done a quote also for the shipping of a vehicle to be shipped to Cyprus the customer wants it to go via RoRo to be going mid March they will also be taking the car to port themselves .
