Good morning its still very cold here in Chesterfield and the roads are too still very icy.

We are sorting out Christmas Shipments car shipping, motorcycle shipping, containers etc this morning making sure they are all running to plan as the weather has been pretty bad all over the world , I have been checking opening and closing times for taking vehicles to ports etc as some customers are shipping over Christmas some of the times are different as its Christmas.

Yesterday towards the afternoon I got quite busy with freight data inputting and also last minute GS=Global saver, one of which was for documents to be air freighted to Dubai for a company in Chesterfield which was urgent and needed to be flown out quickly. The other was for a lady sending a package to her sister in America Christmas presents for her and her family.

I am going to be doing some invoicing later on today but must check some Bills of Lading first its vital to make sure you have all the correct information on these as it could cause a lot of problems and prevent the containers, cars, motorcycles anything in which is being imported and exported being released to the consignee.

I also told you about a lady in which wanted a quote for a truck and 2 cars to be shipped to Zimbabwe if you can remember I passed on the information as the lady wanted quotes for them being shipped individually and also for the 2 cars to be put onto the lorry and shipped that way as iam aware the quote was done and they have decided to place the other 2 cars onto the lorry and the job is going ahead as she was more than happy with the quote, so we are in the process of getting everything prepared and all the paper work done and all the booking to be completed she is delivering the truck to port by herself but we are collecting the 2 other vehicles in the new year.
