I have been pretty busy today I have done a Global saver for a customer sending Christmas presents to his family to a destination called Brunei this is being collected later on today and will soon be on its way. I have also booked a job for a vehicle shipment to go to Ashdod from Southampton I have called the shipping line and booked it onto their vessel which is leaving on the 22nd December so the vehicle has be taken to port by this Friday. I have emailed the gentleman with all the shipping details and I have just entered it up on to our freight data system this has to be done before we can print off our shipping instructions and shipping note.
I have taken a few telephone calls one of which is for a car shipping to Dubai and they don't need it to be sent until the new year but would like a quote as to how much it will cost they want it collected and taken to port and then shipped over to Dubai where it will be collected from the port i am in the process of doing this quote for them at the moment.
I have also had a request for a quote for a motorcycle shipping in which they want it sent to New Zealand in the new year and again wanting to know the price before Christmas I have completed the quote for them and they also want a quote for a custom built crate for the motorcycle to go in.
So I do have a few more things left to do so this will have to be a short blog for now .
