GOOD AFTERNOON

Good afternoon here at eliteshipping.co.uk i have been inputting data onto the computer system into our freight data and also been answering the telephone, we have had a couple of calls one of which was for a shipping via air freight of a gramophone for a gentleman trying to ship it over to his son, we will be collecting it from him bringing it back to our warehouse and wrapping and packing it for him before we ship it via air freight.

I have also been speaking to the gentleman regarding the shipping of project cargo if you can remember I have spoke about this customer before as we have shipped a few cranes etc for him in the past and are in the process of sending out another 2 to different countries for him, he wanted to check and see if our collection date was the same as there is still alot of snow on the roads and at the moment I have happy to tell him that yes as long as the weather holds off the collection date stays the same.

I have done a GS=Global saver today too a lady brought in some urgent documents in which needed to be sent asap I have labeled them up and they will soon be on their way via air freight to Germany.

At the moment iam waiting for a few quotes to come back in which I have enquired about this morning one was for a quote for the shipment of a Ford Kia to be shipped via sea freight going to Zambia as soon as possible I have already been able to do part of the quote as the customer would like for us to collect the vehicle from there address in the UK and take it to port for them.

Also today I am waiting for a quote to come back for the shipping of a classic car in which the customer has asked how we can protect the vehicle while it is being shipped I have told them about our secure containers in which the vehicle can be put into a container which then has a secure tag put on it so its not opened through transit the only time it would be opened would be if the customs want to check inside the container, The customer would like the container and also wants for us to collect the vehicle from them and take to port I have also explained that we can do this with a transportation lorry in which can collect the vehicle and take it to port for them, so I am just waiting on the shipping quote for them and then I will be able to get back to them with a full quote later on today.
