Its pretty busy this morning with customers calling for quotes new customers and old customers, I have been doing a few quotes one of which has been for a shipment of a container load to be sea freighted to South Africa for as soon as possible i am trying to find the best price for the customer and I am awaiting the final quote to be emailed to me.
I have also had a lady who would like some quotes on the shipping of a vehicle to be shipped as soon as possible to Dubai she would like it to be sea freighted via RoRo I have been able to get a quote for her and as she is very happy with the price Iam in the process of sorting out a collection date for one of our transporters to collect the vehicle from her and then take to port ready to be shipped to Dubai.
I have also had a gentlemen requesting a quote for the shipping of a classic motorcycle to Queensland in Australia the gentleman has asked if we can crate it in one of our custom built crates and if we could also collect and store at the warehouse until it needs to be shipped and crated. and the final quote in which I have been asked for is for the shipping of a large coach in which they would like to have shipped via sea freight to South Africa, they would like it to be shipped as soon as possible and they are able to take the coach to port for the next available shipping date.
Finally I have just received a telephone call from a lady who has a Mercedes in which she would like to ship over to Zimbabwe for her husband while he is working out there she would like the vehicle to be shipped in one of our secure containers and would like a price as soon as possible.
I am also waiting for a lady to come in and bring in a package in which she would like to be sent via our GS=global saver service via air freight to Belgium for as soon as possible I will sort it out for her today and call for it to be collected later on today.
