I have been busy this morning doing freight data inputting and also doing a way bill, you do these when you air freight you also have to label up the boxes, packages etc with the consignee details and make sure they have there weights etc labelled too.
I have also been answering the telephone and a gentleman has call requesting a quote for the shipment of a vehicle to Canada from here in the UK, he would like for it to go via RoRo on the next available shipping and he is also able to take the vehicle to port himself. I am in the process of getting a quote for him and as soon as i know what it will be I will contact him.
A lady is also in the process of shipping a Vehicle from again here in the UK to Dar Es Salaam, the vehicle is being collected from her home address today and being transported to port as the vessel is sailing on the 14Th she is also wanting it to be shipped via RoRo.
A past customer came in also to say thank you for the shipping of a package in which his father had sent for him to Brunei by ourselves himself and his wife came in and I was very pleased to have met them and was pleased they were so happy with the service in which we had provided for them, they are wanting to ship more items and have told us that it will be us they will now use for all there shipments.
A gentleman has also requested a quote for the shipping of a motorcycle to Dubai, he would like the motorcycle to be crated and brought to our warehouse to have the crate built around the motorcycle I am waiting for some information to come back then I will be able to contact the gentleman and give him the quote.
finally a few days ago a gentleman called for a quote on the shipping of a container 40ft to be dropped at his house and for them to load their belongings and then for it to be taken to port and shipped to Australia where they are moving to I gave him the quote and he has called back and wishes to go ahead with the shipping and for the container to be dropped off at his address, I am in the process of having the container dropped off and also booking the container onto a vessel.
