GOOD MORNING

I have been busy this morning looking up several quotes for our customers as you know we do containers for international relocation and for lots of other things too, yesterday I have a call from a gentleman who would like to know the price for the delivery of a 20ft container to his address and for him to be able to pack his and his families belongings as they are relocating to Greece the middle of this year, they would like to pack their own belongings into the container so the best option for them would be for the container to be delivered to their address and for them to pack the items and for us to collect the container after it has been loaded and to take to port for them ready for it to be shipped to Greece via sea freight.

I have also had a call today for a shipment via air freight of 3 boxes the customer has brought the boxes in and after checking the weight and the dimensions they are able to be sent via GS = Global Saver in which I have explained to the customer this is a fast way for the boxes to be delivered they would like for them to be sent this way and they boxes are going to Germany, I have labelled up the boxes and put the appropriate information onto the boxes they are being collected later today and taken to the airport ready for them to be sent to Germany via air freight.

Finally I have also received a call from a gentleman who would like to find out about shipping a vehicle to the south of Africa from here in the UK, the gentleman would like the price on him taking to the port himself and also the price on us collecting the vehicle via a transporter and taking to port for him. He would also like to know the price of the vehicle being shipped on the RoRo service and also a price on having the vehicle put into a secure container the vehicle is a brand new land rover so as its an expensive vehicle I have told him that I would take the option of placing the vehicle into a secure container but it is his decision as to what he would want, Iam in the the process of finding out the quotes for him on everything in which he requires and I will call him back shortly and let him know the prices.

As I am typing my blog out this morning I have also received a telephone call from a lady who would like to see about shipping a vehicle to Zimbabwe via RoRo it is a small Fiat Punto and she is able to take to port herself, so I am finding out when the next available vessel is and when the closing off time is as she desperately wants to get it there as soon as possible as soon as I know all this information I will be calling her back and we will go from there to see what else she may require.
