We are wanting to advise customers that in the shipping industry at this time there are a number of scams where individuals are being asked to pay money to certain companies in exchange for shipping of vehicles, motorcycles etc.

This is also when the individuals are selling vehicles/bikes, they are asked to transfer monies to an account through Western Union, this should send some warning bells as why would you need to pay money when you are selling a vehicle.

We are therefore offering the following advice

We will never ask for any money to paid prior to confirmation of booking.
We would never ask for money to paid in to a Western Union Account.
We never use mobile telephone numbers as point of contact for our company.
We do not use P.O box addresses.
We do not associate with any free ad sites

The only advice we can offer is if you do not have any item to buy or sell then do not transfer money to anyone.

Also to use the old saying "If it looks to good to be true, then it usually is"
